How it works:
A Film Sprint is a short-turnaround filmmaking competition, with a set start and end time, with required elements that each submission must include to qualify - revealed to the filmmakers at the start of the challenge.
Fright Sprint 5 is an open challenge for all ages and skill sets, but we allow our filmmakers to submit content that may not be suitable for all audiences. Viewer discretion is advised.
Teams have a filmmaking window September 27-October 7 - in which you will plan, shoot and edit a short film.
Runtime:
8-12 minutes of narrative time!
Required Elements:
You'll be presented with additional challenges at the kickoff - required elements that each film must contain.
THEY MAY INCLUDE:
Story Challenges
(like a line of dialogue, or a prop, or a narrative element)
or
Production Techniques
(like a camera shot or editing process)
or
Other Surprises
to be revealed at kickoff!
What You'll Get:
When you sign up for a Film Sprint, you'll get access to our community of filmmakers and experts from around the world!
